1、What is radiofrequency ablation of tumor?

The main principle of radiofrequency ablation technology is to lead the radiofrequency current produced by radiofrequency generator into the local tissues by using radiofrequency electrode (needle), and stimulate the ions in the tissue cells to carry out high-speed vibration and produce the friction heat. The heat energies can be transmitted outward periphery gradually with the increase of time. With the rise of the local temperature (up to 60~120), intracellular proteins will produce denaturation. At the same time, it can make the vascular tissues around the tumor  coagulate and form a reaction zone, so that they cannot continue to supply blood to the tumor, resulting in coagulative necrosis and exfoliation of tumor tissues, and the necrotic tissues will be absorbed or excreted by the body subsequently, so as to achieve the purpose of therapy.
